Great experience at The Drake. We were able to get in fairly easily for dinner Sunday night but the restaurant was packed. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the nice weather and people watching. Kale salad, fried chicken, and fish of the day were all good. Service was good and attentive. Kitchen was a bit backed up but we weren’t in a hurry!
We went to a stylish bar with a long counter, booth seats, and outdoor seats. When we arrived in the evening, most of the seats were already reserved, so I recommend making a reservation if you want to go there. We ordered Pork Bossam, Miso Cured Cod, and Buttermilk Fried Chicken. The pork belly in Pork Bossam was very soft and had a unique flavor that was absolutely delicious. The fried chicken was also soft, and the cod was a light flavor with almost no miso flavor, which I thought went well with the soba. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. Overall, we had a great time at this bar. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect for a night out. I would definitely recommend this bar to anyone looking for a great place to eat and drink.😊✨
Went two days in a row because it was amazing. They dont have a lot of menu options but what they do prepare is amazing. If you're in town I recommend stopping by.
Walked in at 7:15 asking for a table for two, they said there were reservations and were given the options for the bar or outside. Fine, we could see it was busy. We chose to sit at the bar only to find an empty table for two behind us. I asked if that was spoken for when the host walked by and she said yes, it has a reservation. By the end of our meal, the table was still empty and there were several tables that had cleared out since. Usually there’s fantastic accommodation here but it felt like they continued to give us the run around with the tables. Moral of the story, make a reservation, they hate walk ins.

DeliciousI Delicious! Delicious! The Strawberry Salad with Pork belly. Also, the Buttermilk Fried Chicken. Yummy. Fish-of-the-day were delicious Scallops. Pair those entrees with a margarita, and they are all winners. Happy I found DRAKE-Downtown. ☺️
This place was great. Also they had the Manmosa which I love. Also the food was good. Highly recommend
Really great spot, small but very cozy and great service. Really delicious drinks with some interesting choices.
My wife and I went into drake because the line at 900 wall was over an hour wait. I wish I waited.
My order at Drake was listed as Crab cakes with a frise side salad.
What I received was an entire plate of salad with 3 small Crab cakes. On the side.
I tried the cakes hoping that perhaps they were good enough, they would make up for the jokingly small portion.
They weren't.
After sending it back I then instead tried the pasta fagiolio. As the staff said it could be made quickly so I didn't have to wait while my wife ate alone.
It did come out quick, that was its only saving grace.
The dish seemed like an unseasoned can of beans dumped into overcooked pasta and served.
I don't think I will.be returning soon.
